Quanta® — Simply Smarter
Experience greater control with the first and only FDA-cleared dialysis machine offering three modalities, all in one machine.
Triple The Functionality, Triple the Benefits to Patient Care
Discover the unmatched versatility of the Quanta Dialysis System. It enables dynamic, on-the-fly adjustments between therapy flow rates and on-demand dialysate fluid generation, improving prescription flexibility across care settings.
IHD
Intermittent Hemodialysis
Delivers a high dialysate flow rate of 500 mL/min.
Compare to 300 mL/min with NxStage® System One™ and Outset Medical Tablo® Hemodialysis System.
SLED
Sustained Low Efficiency Dialysis
Delivers longer, slower therapies at dialysate flow rates of 200 and 300 mL/min.
CRRT1
Continuous Veno-Venous Hemodialysis (CVVHD) or “Slow Continuous Ultrafiltration (SCUF) Eliminates need for bagged dialysate changes, saving time and money. Compare to Tablo® Hemodialysis System, not FDA indicated for CRRT.Easy to Train
Simplify training, enhance patient focus.
The Quanta Dialysis System stands out not only for its clinical versatility but also for its remarkable ease of training. By simplifying the learning process, your team can dedicate more time to direct patient care and less to lengthy onboarding procedures.
Rapid Training Capability
Train staff in as little as 4.5 hours, ensuring they are quickly equipped to deliver top-notch care.2
Unified Training Approach
One device supports all hemodialysis therapies, reducing the complexity and variety of training needed across different systems.
Easy to Maintain
Minimize upkeep, maximize care.
The Quanta Dialysis System is designed not only for efficiency but also for exceptional ease of maintenance. By reducing the complexity and time required for upkeep, your staff can concentrate more on patient care and less on device management.
Flexible Water Architecture
Pay for what you need: Quanta can integrate with existing portable RO or central RO loop.
Compare to Outset Medical Tablo’s built-in internal RO and pre-filter.
No Bagged Dialysate Changes
Eliminates frequent bagged dialysate changes, saving valuable time and resources over each shift.
Compare to NxStage System One’s premixed 5L bags.
Weekly Hot Rinse
Requires just a single weekly hot rinse, freeing up to 14 hours per week per device that would otherwise be spent on daily cleaning.4
Compare to Outset Medical Tablo’s daily heat disinfection and weekly chemical disinfection. Traditional hemodialysis machines like Tablo also require chemical disinfection after being utilized on HepB & unknown status patients.
Designed for Simplicity
Streamlined setup and take-down that optimizes staff time and effort, critical in environments facing high turnover and staffing challenges.

Insourcing the Quanta Dialysis System into our ICU, and building a de novo CRRT program has resulted in both timely initiation of renal replacement therapy and efficient volume status optimization.
Despite being a new program, initial observations highlight improved time to successful extubation and reduced length of stay in the ICU.

The Quanta device is in most respects a "standard" hemodialysis machine, using its own RO water for dialysate at a flow of 500cc/min BUT in the same treatment may be converted to CRRT mode by reducing dialysis flow rates to as low as 50cc/min.
In facilities not presently employing CRRT, Quanta may also have advantages over standard Prisma or NxStage.
Dr. Richard Barnett
Director of Renal Critical Care

Quanta’s sustained low-efficiency dialysis, in my opinion, has allowed us to provide the standard of ICU-level renal care this region has desperately needed.
The ability to safely dialyze, in the ICU, what we would consider the sickest patients in the hospital truly gives us the opportunity to give every patient a fighting chance at survival.
